ARRIVE JOHANNESBURG (BREAKFAST ON BOARD – LUNCH – DINNER)
After completing all the necessary formalities at the airport, guests will board the waiting coach and head towards a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch. With appetites satisfied and excitement building, the journey continues with a guided city tour of Johannesburg, giving everyone their first real glimpse of the vibrant energy and rich history of South Africa's largest city.
The tour begins with a visit to the iconic Gandhi Square, a place of great historical significance where Mahatma Gandhi once had his office during his early years in South Africa. Standing in this spot evokes a strong sense of connection to the past, as it was here that Gandhi developed many of the philosophies that would later inspire movements across the globe.
From there, the tour proceeds to Nelson Mandela Square, one of Johannesburg’s most popular public squares and a bustling hub of shopping, dining, and social activity. Formerly known as Sandton Square, the location was renamed in March 2004 to honour South Africa’s beloved former President and anti-apartheid hero, Nelson Mandela. A towering statue of Mandela stands proudly in the square, offering a perfect opportunity for photographs and quiet reflection on his enduring legacy.
After a day filled with history and exploration, guests will enjoy a sumptuous dinner at a nearby Indian restaurant, offering familiar flavours in a foreign land. Only after completing the day’s experiences will everyone proceed to the hotel for check-in. The evening concludes with a comfortable overnight stay in Johannesburg, allowing time to rest and recharge for the adventures ahead.
JOHANNESBURG – PRETORIA – KRUGER (BREAKFAST – LUNCH - LOCAL DINNER)
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, it's time to check out from the hotel in Johannesburg and begin the drive towards Pretoria, South Africa's administrative capital. As you arrive, take some time to explore the city, which is known for its stunning jacaranda-lined streets, historical monuments, and a unique blend of old-world charm and modern development. The city offers a glimpse into South Africa’s political and cultural fabric, with landmarks that narrate its rich past.
Following the city tour, you’ll stop at a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch, soaking in the relaxed atmosphere before continuing the journey. From Pretoria, the route leads to one of the world's most iconic wildlife destinations – Kruger National Park. Renowned as one of the oldest and largest game reserves in Africa, Kruger is a haven for nature and wildlife lovers. The park is home to the famous Big Five – lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo – along with an astonishing variety of other wildlife and bird species. As you drive through its expansive landscapes, you might spot giraffes grazing peacefully, zebras moving in herds, or even catch a glimpse of elusive creatures like the spotted hyena or bush baby.
Upon reaching Kruger, you’ll check in at the hotel or lodge nestled within or near the park's natural surroundings. As the evening settles in, enjoy a traditional local dinner at the resort, offering a taste of regional flavors and hospitality. The day ends with an overnight stay at Kruger, surrounded by the soothing sounds of the African wilderness.
KRUGER NATIONAL PARK (PACKED BREAKFAST – LOCAL LIGHT LUNCH - LOCAL DINNER)
Begin your day early with a packed breakfast in hand, setting out for an unforgettable jungle safari tour in the heart of South Africa. Oudtshoorn, often referred to as the 'Feather Capital of the World', is renowned for its historical connection to ostrich farming.
Once you arrive, your first stop will be the awe-inspiring Cango Caves. These ancient limestone chambers, carved by nature over millions of years, are filled with striking stalactite and stalagmite formations. You’ll embark on a guided walking tour through the illuminated underground pathways, where the natural sculptures seem almost otherworldly—each turn revealing chambers more spectacular than the last, making it clear why the caves are considered one of South Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders.
From the caves, you’ll proceed to one of Oudtshoorn’s iconic Ostrich Farms. Here, you’ll experience the fascinating world of these giant birds up close. Entertaining shows featuring well-trained ostriches offer insights into their behavior and remarkable strength. For the adventurous, there's even an opportunity to try riding one of these powerful birds. You can also test your strength by attempting to crack open an ostrich egg—a task that’s tougher than it sounds due to their thick shells. Afterward, enjoy a delicious local lunch at the farm’s own restaurant, surrounded by the serene countryside.
Following lunch, the next stop is the Wildlife Ranch, where you’ll come face to face with some of the most intriguing animals in the region. Marvel at the sleek elegance of the cheetahs—the fastest land animals in the world—as well as other wildlife, including crocodiles housed in a specially designed enclosure, offering both safety and a close-up view of these ancient reptiles.

Surrounded by dense forests, winding rivers, and unspoiled beaches, the setting is nothing short of magical.
The day culminates with a scenic sunset cruise on the serene waters of Lake George. As the sun dips below the horizon, casting golden hues across the lake, you’ll enjoy a locally inspired dinner onboard, making for an unforgettable evening.
