Following this enchanting boat ride, you will visit Wat Bo, a revered 18th-century pagoda known for its serene ambiance and captivating wall paintings that depict scenes from the Reamker, the Cambodian version of the Ramayana. These artworks, believed to date back to the late 19th century, offer a fascinating insight into the region’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
As the day winds down, enjoy a delicious dinner at an Indian restaurant, offering a taste of home amidst the exotic surroundings. Your night concludes with a comfortable stay at a hotel in Siem Reap, ensuring you are well-rested for the adventures that lie ahead.
SIEM REAP (BREAKFAST - LUNCH - DINNER)
After a hearty breakfast, set out to explore the majestic South Gate of Angkor Thom, often referred to as Big Angkor. This vast, walled, and moated royal city spans an area of approximately 3 square kilometers and stands as a testament to the grandeur of the Angkorian Empire’s final
capital. As you step through the gate, you’re transported back in time, with remnants of regal splendor whispering stories of a bygone era.
Your exploration continues with the iconic Bayon Temple, known for its mysterious smiling stone faces and its complex, layered architecture. The temple is a fascinating blend of religious symbolism and historical change, having been constructed in a somewhat improvised manner over more than a century. Not far from here lies the Terrace of the Elephants, an awe-inspiring structure that stretches
300 meters in length and rises to a height of two and a half meters. Intricately carved with elephants and other mythical creatures, this terrace once served as a grand viewing platform for public ceremonies and royal audiences.
As you venture further, discover Baphuon, a massive temple mountain that dominates the central area of Angkor Thom. Its steep stairways and intricate carvings reflect the architectural brilliance of the Khmer empire. Nearby is the Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas, a striking sandstone pyramid that once played host to sacred royal rituals. The sense of history and reverence is palpable in these ruins, offering a rare glimpse into the spiritual life of Angkor’s kings. Break for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can recharge
and savor the flavors of Cambodian cuisine before continuing your journey.
In the afternoon, visit the legendary Angkor Wat, often hailed as the Mother of all Temples. Recognized as the largest religious monument in the world, Angkor Wat is not only a marvel of engineering but also a profound symbol of Khmer identity. With its harmonious proportions, elaborate bas-reliefs, and central quincunx towers, the temple represents a sublime fusion of spiritual symbolism and architectural symmetry.
As the day draws to a close, head to Phnom Bakheng, a temple perched atop a hill nearly 70 meters high. From this vantage point, enjoy a panoramic sunset view over the surrounding plains and temples, a sight that captures the serene beauty and timeless allure of Angkor.
In the evening, unwind with a traditional Apsara Dance performance over dinner. This classical Cambodian dance, rich in grace and storytelling, is the perfect cultural finale to a day immersed in history and heritage. Afterward, return to your accommodation for an overnight stay in the charming town of Siem Reap.
SIEM REAP – SAIGON (BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER)

After finishing the morning meal, guests are requested to check out from the hotel as the group prepares to travel to one of Vietnam's most iconic and historically significant sites—the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Situated on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi Tunnels are a vast and intricate underground network stretching over 200 kilometers. These tunnels became legendary for the crucial role they played during the Vietnam War. Used extensively by Vietnamese resistance fighters, they served as hiding spots, living quarters, supply routes, and strategic operational bases. A visit to the tunnels offers a profound glimpse into the resilience, ingenuity, and determination of those who fought during the long and grueling struggle for independence. This region holds immense historical and cultural significance, as it was once the capital of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi rose to prominence in the 11th century. As the landscape gradually transitions from the bustling energy of the city to serene countryside views, travelers are introduced to a place where nature and history coexist in perfect harmony.
Ninh Binh is renowned for its remarkable natural beauty and iconic heritage sites. The exploration begins with a peaceful boat ride through the Tam Coc caves, where the river meanders through an enchanting landscape of towering limestone karsts rising dramatically from lush green rice fields. The surreal scenery has earned Tam Coc the poetic nickname “Halong Bay on land,” drawing comparisons to both the mystical karst mountains of Guilin in China and the famous seascapes of Halong Bay in northern Vietnam. The calmness of the water, the sheer cliffs, and the surrounding rural charm offer a truly immersive and tranquil experience.
Following the boat ride, the journey delves deeper into Vietnam’s imperial past with a visit to the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, once the political and cultural heart of the country during the Dinh and early Le dynasties in the 10th century. Visitors explore the ancient temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh, where the weathered stones and intricate wooden reliefs whisper stories of Vietnam’s early monarchy. These sacred temples, set amid shaded courtyards and peaceful gardens, offer a fascinating glimpse into the spiritual and architectural legacy of the nation.
As the day comes to a close, travelers will return to Hanoi in the late afternoon. The evening is reserved for a sumptuous dinner at a local Indian restaurant, offering comforting flavors and a warm end to the day’s adventure. This drive, lasting over three hours, is a picturesque one, offering a glimpse into the serene countryside of northern Vietnam. As the road winds through the Red River delta, travelers are treated to sights of lush green paddy fields stretching across the horizon, dotted with traditional rural villages. Along the way, one can witness the timeless rhythm of Vietnamese rural life—hardworking farmers tending to their fields, guiding water buffaloes through the muddy terrain, and carefully planting rice seedlings in the soft earth.
Upon arriving in Ha Long, often referred to as the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, the group will board a large, comfortable boat to begin a cruise through this awe-inspiring seascape. Designated a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994, Ha Long Bay is nothing short of magical, known for its unique and dramatic beauty. The bay is home to thousands of towering limestone islands and karst formations, rising majestically from the emerald waters, each one carved and shaped by time and nature. These rugged cliffs and hidden grottoes form a mystical atmosphere that has inspired legends, with Ha Long meaning “Descending Dragon” in Vietnamese folklore.
As the boat glides through the bay, a delicious lunch featuring freshly caught seafood is served on board. The afternoon offers opportunities for adventure and relaxation alike—guests may choose to take a refreshing swim in the calm waters or explore the bay more intimately through kayaking. Floating fishing villages dot the landscape, adding a touch of cultural charm, while nearby islets reveal their natural beauty up close.
As the sun sets over the tranquil waters, guests can participate in a range of onboard activities or simply unwind at their own pace. The day ends with a delightful dinner on the cruise, followed by an overnight stay in the peaceful vicinity of Titov Beach, surrounded by the gentle lull of the waves and the grandeur of Ha Long Bay’s timeless scenery.
